Changelog
21.0.13-beta
- Added Pennants (with 16 colors). Crafted by stick and wool. They are purely ornamental blocks, and they sway and flutter in the wind.
- Added Umbrella, a multi-purpose tool, which is crafted by 2 ticks and 3 leathers.
- Right click to open the umbrella, and shift + right click to close it.
- Holding an open umbrella can slow down the falling speed, reduce falling damage and increase the windage (makes entity easier to be pushed by the wind).
- An open umbrella can protect the entity from most threats above. Including: melee attack, most projectiles, splash potions, fishing hooks, falling blocks and so on. However, this will damage its durability. When an attack is successfully blocked by umbrella, it will make a "Umbrella blocks" sound.
- Holding an open umbrella can also protect the holder and any entity below from the sunlight and rain.
- Similar to the shield, umbrella can be disabled by warden or axe melee attack. In this case, the umbrella can't be used to block damage for 5 seconds, but the "falling damage reduction" is still in effect.
- The player can use a shield while holding an umbrella. When blocking an attack, the umbrella always takes priority over the shield.
- The umbrella can be dyed. The canopy is divided into 8 sections, and each section can be dyed separately. Each section can be dyed into one of the 16 dye colors. Use an dyed umbrella on the cauldron with water can wash all the dye off. An dyed umbrella item will show the color in the tooltip.
- When the world is raining, every zombie and skeleton (including their variants but excluding the drowned) has a 10% chance to spawn with an open umbrella in the off hand. The umbrella may be dyed (75%) or not (25%), and the "rainbow" umbrella is the rarest (0.1%).
- Added all 16 colored bundles. Changed the bundle recipe (with only a string and a leather).
- Reworked the leash mechanism. Now it behaves just like in vanilla 1.21.6+. (This can be turned off in the config)
- Added Balloons (with 16 dye colors + an undyed color). Crafted by lead, wind charge and phantom membranes.
- Use a balloon item on the fence, sandbag(*see below) or an entity to tie the balloon on it. Otherwise, the balloon is tied to the player themselves. When releasing a balloon, it makes an "inflating" sound. Right click an untied balloon to tie it to yourself.
- Balloons have health. They effectively have just over 4HP, and regenerate 0.1 per game tick. Some damage types, like arrow, cactus or lava can instantly kill the balloon. Some items (like swords, arrows and shears) can also do that. When a balloon is destroyed, it pops, summon particles and drops a lead and 0-2 phantom membranes. If an attack isn't enough to kill the balloon, the balloon will be pushed instead.
- Every balloon will reduce the gravity for the entity it attached to. Note that balloons which are lower than the entity don't make the contributions. With enough balloons, the entity will be lifted and float up. The amount of gravity it reduces depends on the weight of the entity. The heavier the entity is, the more balloons it needs to be lifted.
- When a balloon flies above the height of 64 block above the height limit, it pops.
- Added Sandbag. A gravity-affected block which can be crafted by a bundle and sand.
- Sandbag can be used to tie balloons (other entities cannot be attached to sandbag).
- A falling sandbag deals damage to the entity it hits, just like the anvil.
- Reworked the pinwheels. All the legacy pinwheels have been removed.
- Added a new pinwheel that can be dyed. Each leaf on the wheel can be dyed separately. Everything else remains unchanged.
