Enhanced Equipment

The Biggest Update Yet

This pack has been rebranded to "Enhanced Equipment" from previously "Keaton’s Enhanced Tools" as it's continued to work its way past just tools and weapons into more generalized gear all around. With this new branding, I can and have safely leaned into adding a wider range of additions.

For a general overview, here's what it adds in less detail:

• Armor item textures
• Much more handheld gear
• Support for a handful of mods
• Many, many tweaks and fixes
• Reached 360 total textures

This rebranding has the goal of leaning into objective texture enhancement rather than subjective enhancement, which would typically introduce personal interpretation and stylistic variation.

Professionalism aside, here's everything that it adds:

Major Additions

• Armor Item Textures! Added all 29 new textures for every armor item! Does not change the model textures. Every tier has their own palette to match their respective material with adjusted shading, the helmets get small nasal guards to match their model textures, and the netherite leggings get a unique texture, as they don't have one in vanilla. This includes the empty armor slots in the player inventory. That's not all! All horse armor textures are included as well!
• The Shield. What's tools and armor without a shield to go with it? It uses the stick colors from the low-tier tools as its wood and gets a clean new iron polish.
• The Clock. This one as I've always feared, took FOREVER! As I've said, there are 64 textures for this one. I adjusted the shading, filled in an incorrect gold color, used less harsh colors for the night and day… and it only took 4 hours. Enjoy!
• Recovery Compass. A complete overhaul of the extra thick compass you may have loved. It now uses 100% echo shard colors, got the sides shaved off to match the compass, and uses the compass textures from this pack with some reshading.
• The Spyglass. The vanilla texture was kind of a miss. Who thought to have an awesome zoom feature but have the whole scope look like it hadn't been cleaned for a century? So the new spyglass texture adds proper copper and leather handle colors that were almost there to begin with, its scope is much more transparent and less blurry, and the item itself is now gripped in your hand like a stick instead of held like a feather.
• The Brush. I'm gonna brush past this one. It gets a properly colored handle and a cleaner brush. Bottles. Very interesting, I know. They're shifted to the centered left to be consistent with other off-centered items and a slightly reshaded cork. Does not texture the ominous bottle or experience bottle.

Mod Support

• Amethyst Equipment Everything here in a completely new tier!
• Basic Fluid Hopper Who wants to see a bucket full of honey or a bottle of milk?
• [Axolotl Buckets]https://modrinth.com/mod/axolotl-buckets) Looks like I missed the more popular mod! I already had support for [Axolotl Bucket Fix]https://modrinth.com/mod/axolotl-bucket-fix), so here is this one too!
• Copper Tools If you're playing a version before the Copper Age drop, (like me) then this one is for you.
• Simple Netherite Horse Armor Now if you're playing before the Mounts of Mayhem drop, you'd appreciate this one!
• Shyvv's Trickier Trials What a fabulous mod! Just like the mace, I added a breeze rod handle texture for the lance.

Tweaks

• We'd be here all day, seriously. There are 36 documented changes with most of them being very minor. The biggest changes though are thickening every tool head's bottom and changing inner-shading pattern of every stick. If requested, I can make note of more changes, but for now, I don't see a reason to. I hope you have a great time, and enjoy 2.0.0!
