Arctic’s Vein Miner adds powerful, configurable multi-block mining to modern Forge environments.
Mine veins, tunnels, or structured areas instantly — with full control, multiplayer safety, and clean performance.

⚠️ Compatibility Notice

Arctic’s Vein Miner is designed to work with most Forge-based setups, including many modded environments. However, due to differences in how some mods handle blocks, events, or mining logic, it may not function correctly in certain modpacks.

Additionally, multiplayer server support is currently in progress:

  • Pattern switching may not behave correctly on dedicated servers
  • Some modpacks (especially with optimization mods) may interfere with mining behavior

🚧 This is a known limitation, and compatibility is actively being worked on and improved.

If you encounter issues:

  • Try testing with fewer mods to isolate conflicts
  • Report the modpack and issue to help improve compatibility

✨ Mining Patterns

⛏️ Vein (Shapeless)

  • Mines connected same-type blocks in a 3D blob
  • Uses full 26-direction neighbor detection
  • Configurable depth limit
  • Respects maximum blocks per operation

Perfect for ores, logs, and large material clusters.

🧱 Small Tunnel (1×1)

  • Straight tunnel in the direction you are looking
  • Configurable length
  • Works vertically and horizontally

🏗️ Large Tunnel (3×3)

  • 3 blocks wide × 3 blocks tall
  • Direction based on look vector
  • Configurable length
  • Hardness-aware: only breaks blocks equal to or softer than the starting block

🧩 Square (Configurable)

  • Breaks a square on the face you hit
  • Size configurable from 3×3 up to 15×15
  • Hardness-aware to prevent unintended block breaks

🎮 Controls (Default)

  • Activate Vein Miner: ` (grave key)
  • Cycle Pattern: Hold activation key + Shift, then scroll mouse wheel

Usage:

  • Hold Activate → left-click block → first block breaks normally
  • Extra blocks break according to the selected pattern
  • Release Activate → return to normal mining

🧠 How It Works

  • The first block always breaks normally (no vanilla override).
  • Additional blocks are computed server-side and broken instantly.
  • Drops go directly into your inventory (or drop if full).
  • Tool durability is applied once per operation using a configurable multiplier.
  • Creative mode ignores durability.

Tunnel and Square patterns respect block hardness rules.
Vein pattern only mines the same block type.
