Crackt makes vein-mining balanced and simple, just keep mining a progressively shrinking block and the whole vein will eventually crumble! The goal is to make vein mining feel more vanilla friendly, removing the cheaty-ness of tradition vein miners.
How to use
- Install on both the client and server (if playing multiplayer)
- Approach a vein of ore, and mine a block - you'll see it pop right back, but smaller, just continue mining that block until it all comes crumbling down!
- Exceptionally large veins can require up to 24 breaks, and veins can scale up to 128 ores.
- Multiple players can contribute to the mining progress.
- All players will see the ore chunk progressively get smaller and smaller.
- There's no time limit, or anything to worry about - logout, save the game, you can always come back and finish mining.
- Holding shift allows you mine individual ores, or backout of mining and retrieve the ores you already destroyed by shift breaking the ore chunk block.
- All enchantments, and durability calculations are 1:1 applied as if you had hand mined the entire chunk, keeping it balanced and mostly vanilla.
- Developers can include the tag
c:oresand their modded ores will automatically work with Crackt.
