Extended Leaves

ExtendedLeaves is a simple NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that increases the maximum leaf decay distance.

In vanilla, leaves decay when they are too far away from logs, with a hard limit of 7 blocks. This mod extends that limit and makes it configurable, which is useful for larger trees, custom landscaping, and decorative builds where vanilla leaf decay is too restrictive.

The mod keeps vanilla behavior intact and only changes the supported decay range.
